A week before the Oscars, I thought Broke Back would win based on the hype....

At the start of the Oscars, I switched my prediction that Crash would win Best Picture. Here's how: Even though Broke Back had all of the hype, Crash still was compelling to Southern Californians because it profiled the demographics of that specific area. Who else but a room full of hollywood people who live in this area to be touched by a movie that shows the racial breakdown of that region? My logic was correct!
