F-ing sucks!!! Talk about boring. There was no chemistry. Although, Heath was dead-on for a quiet cowboy with a muttering accent. He should have won for that alone. But the entire story was boring. By the time the end came, I fell asleep and it was only 7 at night.
I love great love stories. This just didn't do it for me. It had nothing to do with boys boinking each other. Basically there was no chemistry and a total lack of compelling story telling.
I mean did you see the lady/guy who won an Oscar for this film? They didn't even get excited. Their mood set the tone for this gem that they created.
geez. super silly!!!! yeyyyyyyyyyyyy. super-silly!!!!!!!. come on guys, let's be super-sillyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy; it's much more interesting, silllllllllllllly. oh my gah, look at that guy's package! sillllllllly-super-sillyyyyy
i love gays. they are upbeat and super-sillly. jesus christ!

that must be it. that's why one of my best friends is JJ. makes sense now. (insert sarcasm)
the movie still blows. I am bothered by shock factor getting in the way of good storytelling (meaning there was not really any but people were shocked so they seemed to think it was the same thing as a good movie). And chemistry matters. If there is no on screen chemistry then you have a flat love story....that's why I thought WALK THE LINE was so good because it had a lot of it.
It's like the movie, LEAVING LAS VEGAS...only that was done well. Shock factor existed but it was done well and you could see a connection between Elizabeth Shue (prostitute) and Nicolas Cage (dying alcoholic).
