I thought it appropriate to bring this film to light since it discusses censorship and people getting accused of being Communists in the 1950s by Senator McCarthy.
It's got to suck to be accused of something that you did not do (wink, wink) or are not.
Everyone should rent it. Covers the aspects of journalism, editing, and the packaging of news events based on your own views, your higher up's views as well as the pressures of being one of the largest newscast of its time. Journalism is not so clear and straightforward as most of the public thinks it is. It's not simply an event and it gets covered. There's the entire gatekeeper aspect to it.
George Clooney, Robert Downey Jr., Patricia Clarkson and the main character (can't remember his name) are fantastic.
