Finally saw it last night. Hugely disappointed. Read the screenplay several times -- thought it was hilarious. If a director has a funny script and can't make the jokes work on screen, I put the blame on him (and his editor). Both actors did a solid job. Neal Patrick Harris was great.



Movie has one amazing line -- if you've seen it, please take a guess at what I'm referring to.



Other thoughts on the film?

Haven't seen it and don't plan on it unless I am baked out of my gourd and it's the only thing within reach at Blockbuster.



On the other hand, I really want to go see Open Water and the new Exorcist. Also wouldn't mind seeing that new film by the Scrubs dude.



Rental Movies that I've seen lately



River's Edge - star cast but falls way short in terms of everything. 80's cult flick gone wrong.



Smoke - Keitel and William Hurt are awesome. Great script, good lowkey flick.



See the Sea (French) - weird and disturbing. Eerie feeling throughout.
