I didn't make it half way thorough this piece of **** of a movie. Ashton better stick to pre-pubescent spoofs (it's a good thing that they keep him out of it for most of the reel) and the rest of the actors in that movie should all be shot execution style in the back of the head (especially the kids). To quote Bo Catlett from Get Shorty, "I've seen better film on teeth."
Couldn't agree more. I was a bit surprised so many people wanted to see an Ashton Kutcher thriller (it made a *boatload* of money) -- but I guess Kutcher is a bigger star than I thought. But how anybody who's actually seen this film considers it anything other than a steaming pile of **** I don't understand. It's like a bad student film -- amateurish directing, inconsistent cinematography, and horrible acting. Kutcher's attempt at a serious performance couldn't possibly be worse. As added evidence, Kutcher was fired from the production of both THE VILLAGE and Cameron Crowe's new movie ELIZABETHTOWN (after the production had started -- something that is very costly and rare) because the directors found him to be such a bad actor. Skip this one.
