I went and saw this movie a few days ago it was pretty funny. I really enjoyed how all of the species of aquatic life in the movie were made up (very creative). Wes Anderson does a very good job developing his characters in all his movies this one included. Any one else got an opinion of this movie compared to Anderson's other film's?
I didn't think it was as "good" or complete a film as RUSHMORE and ROYAL TENENBAUMS (quite frankly I thought LIFE AQUATIC was a mess), but I laughed my ass off throughout, and consider it perhaps the most original movie of 2004. It's on my top ten list for the year.
