What is a cult classic you ask? Well I can tell you it's nothing you haven't seen a thousand times before. It's a movie that has somthing big that people just missed. A movie that people now love and adore that was in its prime under appreaciated, unloved, and straight up neglected by the one's who needed it most, the potential viewing public. So why does this happen? what movie would you consider to be the apex cult classic predator of the movie world???????????
I don't know what the "apex cult classic" would be, but I think that Office Space falls under the category of a cult movie.
I had never even heard of the movie until a few years after it was in theatres. Then a few years after that everybody's talking about and quoting Milton and his red stapler.
Oh, Heathers is totally a cult classic. It's a 1980s film with Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. There is a group of high school popular girls that are all named Heather. They bring Winona's character into their group and try to make her conform to their dressing, etc. Christian starts to date Winona and convinces her to kill them off or something like that...it's a messed up movie but it's a classic 80s Slater flick. Kind of like his Turn Up the Volume movie.
Yeah Kentucky Fried Movie Is Awsome great for those among us with short attention spans. Donnie Darko is great too. Would the Big Lebowski be a cult classic or not at all??
