I just signed-up for Netflix's free month trial and love it. You can basically pick from the biggest selection ever and they send you the movies in no time. Just got my first three within two days of signing up. The only problem I foresee is getting addicted to movie watching. Has anyone else tried this out?

I have not converted simply because of my aversion to mailing things. It's too much work. Everyone keeps telling me to switch. I actually was thinking of the online scanning experience versus the store one. With the store, your eyes can move over many more titles and layouts than if you have to click into each title to see what it is. I would miss out on random movies if I did the online experience.

Also, for some reason, it doesn't matter how many late fees I rack up, the guys at Hollywood video always jimmy some deal with me where I buy a Batman gift card (retail value @ $15) and then they take away my $40 worth of late fees. I still get to use the gift card, too. It makes no sense to me, but I'm not complaining. The problem lies in renting too many at once, getting home, having ADD, and then watching one and the others the day after they are all due. I probably do need to convert to Netflix. I'm still buying VHS, though and watch all of my movies on my '97 walmart VCR (except for a few DVDs on my laptop) LOL...

* It's good to have a VHS collection because robbers won't steal them. When I got robbed last year, my roommate's entire collection of DVDs got stolen. They didn't want mine at all because they were outdated form of media.

Cuba, yes, Netflix could be addictive only if you tend to get hooked on things easily. For sure....
