March of the Pengiuns is an amazing look at the annual pengiun breeding ceremonies. Similar to salmon swimming upstream these little pengiuns go on an incredible....march, if you will through the vast ice expanses of Anartica (antartica what ev).
Anyway as the viewer you connect with these bird completely through their plight from start to finish. The great scale of emotions shown by these birds is not unlike our own. And the breakdown of interspecies differences is very moving.
I thought it was amazing way to go french guys! And good call on the Morgan Freeman voice over.
I heard that the Morgan Freeman voiceover was a last minute addition. They originally tried to give each of the penguins a "voice"....but that tanked with the test audience.
I agree that this was interesting....It really made you appreciate all that a species goes through just to survive.
