I have not seen this movie but my friends and I saw a preview for it and were making fun of the idea of it (like phone booth but with sharks) for the rest of the day. The next day we decided to go canoeing from tybee island in savannah, GA to little tybee but the waves were to strong and they started filling the boat with water, so needless to say we were flipping our $hit. With the boat flipped over, the joint we brought with us was thoroughly soaked, and our shoes safely away at sea. We floated out there for a good hour (seemed like longer because of all the jelly fish stings) before some French dude in a motor boat pulled us in. Later I heard the atlantic inlet water way is one of the number one shark hangouts in the whole ocean (glad I didn't know that when I was out there floating with them). But man I'll tell ya never laugh at a movie "based on actual events" or it could come back to bite you in the a$$.

Wish I'd seen this movie in a theater full of people. I watched it on a plane last week (did you know Swiss Air doesn't edit their films? No strong language or nudity removed) and was utterly bored. Didn't buy into it at all. Oh, but I did literally jump a foot into the air when that first shark audibly pops out of the water. That was well done.
